Clear your calendar for Wednesday, June 5,! Meet the Authors Night will be held from 6:30-8:30pm in Marian Hall of the Ave Maria Center. Over a dozen local authors are coming and everyone is welcome to this fun family event! You can chat with authors, ask questions and purchase autographed copies of some really awesome books. There are books available in a wide variety of genres and age ranges from young children to adults. Light refreshments will be served.

We have Holy Adoration at 4 am. Come participate in this simple act of spending time in prayer before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, exposed on the altar at the Chapel of Divine Mercy at St. Laurence. You can go straight to the Chapel or meet with fellow Brother Adorers at the parish hall kitchen, a few minutes before 4. After the Holy Hour, we invite all Adorers to come join us for coffee at the Parish Hall Kitchen.

On the second Saturday of each month, join the St. Laurence Young Adults Group for Confession, Mass, and a social afterwards.

- Baptism in the Spirit and Fire Segment #3 Jesus came to baptize us in the Holy Spirit, and the power and grace that comes from the baptism in the Holy Spirit changes lives. For the millions of Catholics worldwide who have had this experience it is a transforming grace that brings freedom, peace, and the very presence of God. Unfortunately for many Catholics the term “baptism in the Holy Spirit” is not a term with which they are familiar. In this segment we will discuss what the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is all about.

Coping with the sudden or tragic death of a loved one can be very difficult. Survivors are often overwhelmed by the grief that follows an unexpected death, and this may complicate the grieving process. Connecting with others who are also grieving the sudden death of loved ones can facilitate the healing process. These are not counseling sessions. The Grieving Families support group is for those who are grieving the death of loved ones through murder, suicide, accident, or any other sudden death. The group meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm in the Ave Maria Parish Life Center in the St. Francis room. Join us for our next meeting. THE WILD GOOSE SEGMENT #4 THE SPIRIT AND OUR LADY “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.” - Luke 1:35 Our Lady, from the moment of her conception, was overshadowed by the Holy Spirt. As the Spouse of the Holy Spirit she models for us what our lives can look like when we say “yes” to God’s will and fully give ourselves over to the actions of the Spirit of God. Mary’s fiat led her to the cross, the empty tomb and ultimately the upper room where she was once again overshadowed by the Holy Spirit. If we have the courage, as Mary did, to say yes to God’s Spirit, to surrender our will to his, we too will experience the power of the Most High overshadowing us.

Prince Tribute Concert @SLTS We’ll meet at the right side of the stage, close to the fountain. Concert starts at 7:30 P.M. Bring a chair. You can bring food and a drink or buy it there.
