Rays of Enlightenment
Outreach of the Divine Mercy Cenacle:
Each year, a Divine Mercy Conference is held to spread the Divine Mercy Message to the Archdiocese of Galveston Houston. This ministry is called "Spirit of Divine Mercy" and the conference is held at a parish in the Archdiocese on a Saturday in Lent. Speakers come from all over the United States. It is a day of spiritual renewal for older teens and adults. The day is adorned with Adoration and Mass, along with our wonderful music ministry, refreshments and a booksale. Don't miss this year's event!Click on the "Rays of Enlightenment" for this year's details and sign up
The Message of Divine Mercy
Turn to the Lord's mercy with trust,
Receive His mercy with thanksgiving, and
Share His mercy with others.
Trust and Mercy - which is to love God and our neighbor - are the very essence of the message. Trust is the living faith that we place in our merciful savior, Jesus. Mercy is the Lord's life-giving love poured out upon us sinners, life-giving love that we share with one another.
Apostolic Blessing
On October 15, 1998, by means of a document which he personally signed, the Holy Father, Pope John Paul 11, imparted a special Apostolic Blessing to all members of the Eucharistic Apostles of The Divine Mercy.
Souls who spread the honor of My mercy I shield through their entire life as a tender mother her infant, and at the hour of death I will not be a judge for, them but the Merciful Savior.
-Jesus reveals to St. Faustina, Diary Entry 1075
I give thanks to the Divine Providence that I have been enabled to contribute personally to the fulfillment of Christ's Will, through the Institution of the Feast of Divine Mercy. I pray unceasingly that God will have Mercy on us and on the whole world.
-Pope John Paul II (7/6/97) Shrine of Divine Mercy, Krakow, Poland.
Our Mission
To profess and proclaim, the truth of the Real Presence of Jesus in the Most Holy Eucharist, and to promote, insofar as possible, Perpetual Adoration, of the Most Blessed Sacrament and the hourly offering of the Divine Mercy Chaplet for the dying;
To bring to a hurting world the Divine Mercy message and devotion according to the revelations granted to the Church through Blessed Faustina Kowalska;
To form small faith groups, called cenacles, to meet weekly: a) to pray for and encourage vocations to the priesthood and the religious life; b) to pray and work for an end to the scourge of abortion in the world; c) to experience the fullness of our Catholic Faith through the study of Sacred Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Diary of Blessed Faustina Kowalska;
To encourage members in the exercise of the Faith through spiritual and corporal works of mercy, and to help people to become sensitive to the-gift and beauty of all life, especially through care for the "lepers" of today - the rejected, the lonely, the disabled, the elderly, and the dying.

ABC's Of Mercy
A - Ask for His Mercy. God wants us to approach Him in prayer constantly, repenting of our sins and asking Him to pour His mercy out upon us and upon the whole world.
B - Be merciful. God wants us to receive His mercy and let it flow through us to others. He wants us to extend love and forgiveness to others just as He does to us.
C - Completely trust in Jesus. God wants us to know that the graces of His mercy are dependent upon our trust. The more we trust in Jesus, the more we will receive.
