•  Our Registration Period for First Sacraments Formation will begin April 1, 2025 for the 2025-2026 year.  See requirements below:
  
  

• The child/teen has been baptized Roman Catholic (Have a copy of your child's/teen's Baptismal Certificate on hand in order to register).
• The child is in 2nd Grade or higher.
• Your family is a registered and active member of St. Laurence Catholic Church.
• Your child/teen attended 2024-2025 faith formation (parish formation OR Catholic School with at least 70% attendance).
• Your child/teen is registered for 2025-2026 Faith Formation (parish formation OR Catholic School).
  
  

 Primarily, Sacrament Preparation will be done at home.

In addition to this, we have six sessions of the Treasure Hunt that are a required part of the year. these are designed to help your child fully appreciate the treasures and be ready to celebrate the Sacraments.

 Parent and child participate together at each session.

1.  Explore! Reconciliation and Eucharist Treasure Hunts (two sessions each semester): Tour Guides need the map and materials! Fun and exciting ways to learn as we explore these Sacraments!   For just a few hours in the Fall and again in the Spring, we spend time together exploring and discovering more about these Sacraments through prayer, Bible Stories, games, crafts, and readiness discernment. Books and Materials will be distributed at the first session each semester.
2.  Discover More!  Treasures of Reconciliation (FALL) AND Treasures of the Church (SPRING):  Here we explore what the Sacrament of Reconciliation looks like and explore the church to learn more about the Mass and the Eucharist.  There is so much to discover, and parents have just as much fun at these as their children!

YOU WILL NEED A COPY OF YOUR CHILD'S BAPTISM CERTIFICATE TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION  FOR THIS PROGRAM.
