Job Summary: 

The Director of the Weekday Program at St. Laurence Catholic Church ensures a safe, developmentally appropriate, and faith-filled environment that complies fully with the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and Texas state licensing standards. The Director oversees all daily operations, managing a staff of 40, driving enrollment, safeguarding financial health, and cultivating a vibrant community partnership. Qualified candidates should have at least one year of experience in a licensed early childhood program with a bachelor degree or higher in Child Development or a closely related early childhood field. Minimum of six (6) college credit hours specifically in management or administration 

The ideal candidate should enjoy working with the community and possess qualities of a strong leader that can motive a staff of 40. Collaboration with parish leadership, staff, and volunteers, flexibility, and a love for our Catholic faith are necessary. Job Summary 

St. Laurence Catholic Church is seeking a spirit filled Youth & Young Adult Minister to lead and minister to high school teens weekly. This individual will play a critical role in preparing and engaging 200+ candidates through Confirmation preparation, weekly faith formation as well as special events including Steubenville Conferences, Camp Covecrest/Hidden Lake camps and overnight retreats. Our Young Adult ministry gives support to the faith development of post-college young adults. Applicants should possess experience in Youth Ministry with a college degree, preferably in theology or pastoral ministry with theological knowledge that respects the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston’s norms. The ideal candidate thrives in serving and teaching the faith, possesses excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask. The candidate should be well organized and have a collaborative disposition to work with parish leadership, staff, and volunteers. Finally, a deep love for our Catholic faith is key to success in this role.
