Director of Facilities
St. Laurence Catholic Church is seeking a detailed and self-motivated leader to become our Director of Facilities. The Director of Facilities supervises and oversees all aspects of the maintenance, safety, and operational readiness of St. Laurence Catholic Church, Ave Maria Center, School buildings and grounds. Applicants should possess experience in facility operations with at least two years supervisory experience, safety certifications, basic mechanical knowledge, and skills. The ideal candidate thrives leading a team, is well organized, and has a collaborative disposition to work with parish leadership, staff, vendors, and parishioners. Solid interpersonal skills, efficient time management, and organization of responsibilities is a must. Bachelor degree preferred. Finally, a deep love for our Catholic faith, serving, and facilities are keys to success in this role

Youth & Young Adult Minister
St. Laurence Catholic Church is seeking a spirit filled Youth & Young Adult Minister to lead and minister to high school teens weekly. This individual will play a critical role in preparing and engaging 200+ candidates through Confirmation preparation, weekly faith formation as well as special events including Steubenville Conferences, Camp Covecrest/Hidden Lake camps and overnight retreats. Our Young Adult ministry gives support to the faith development of post-college young adults. Applicants should possess experience in Youth Ministry with a college degree, preferably in theology or pastoral ministry with theological knowledge that respects the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston’s norms. The ideal candidate thrives in serving and teaching the faith, possesses excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask. The candidate should be well organized and have a collaborative disposition to work with parish leadership, staff, and volunteers. Finally, a deep love for our Catholic faith is key to success in this role.

Assistant Teachers – Infant Rooms St. Laurence Weekday Children’s Program
St. Laurence Weekday Children’s Program is seeking caring and dedicated Assistant Teachers to join our Infant and Toddler classrooms. These are part-time positions, Monday through Friday, ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education. Key Responsibilities: support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging learning environment; assist in implementing daily activities and routines under the guidance of the lead teacher; contribute to the overall care and development of children; and perform additional duties as assigned to support classroom operations.
