November 4, 2025: Eighth of 13-week devotion: Prayer to St. Anthony of Padua on being Wise and Discerning

O glorious St. Anthony of Padua, you were blessed with divine wisdom and spiritual discernment, seeing clearly what was hidden to many hearts. You sought not your own understanding, but the light of the Holy Spirit to guide every thought, word, and action.

Teach me, dear Saint, to seek that same wisdom — a wisdom that listens more than it speaks, that waits upon the Lord’s timing, and that sees life’s moments through the eyes of faith. Help me to recognize God’s hand at work in the ordinary, and to discern His voice amidst the noise of the world.

When I am faced with difficult choices, be my intercessor before the throne of God, that I may act with prudence and humility, choosing always what pleases Him most. Let my heart be free from confusion, and my mind illumined by the Spirit of Truth.

St. Anthony, model of holy wisdom, help me grow in discernment, so that my life may bear the fruits of righteousness and peace. May I walk in the light of divine understanding, trusting that God’s will alone leads me to joy everlasting. Amen.

• Started on April 15, 1997 at St. Laurence Catholic Church and has offered the service on every Tuesdays since then.
• Aims to promote devotion and prayers in catholic tradition to deepen the devotion to Jesus. 
• The services, four 13 weeks devotion per year, sharing of daily prayers, annual feast etc. attract many of different liturgical and ethnic backgrounds and witness numerous miracles and testimonials
• Providing a very intimate and prayerful environment 
• Attendees are provided with a prayer book, handout with readings, prayers etc.
• The service is live streamed on YouTube
• Faithful from all walks of life forever singing His praise
• Active participation of the Young Adults
• Solemn annual feast is celebrated on a Saturday close to June 13^th (the Feast day of St. Anthony)
• Feast celebrated with Holy Mass, Novena to St. Anthony of Padua, solemn candle procession with Holy Rosary, veneration of the Relic of St. Anthony, distribution of St. Anthony's Bread, Dinner, etc.
