Financial donations can be made to the Social Concerns Ministry via the following methods:
- Faith Direct
- Gold Envelope (included in your contribution envelope packets)
- Monthly Black Bag collections
- Envelopes marked SOCIAL CONCERNS MINISTRY can be placed in the collection basket or dropped at the parish office
- We also collect gift cards such as Wal-Mart, Target, HEB, Kroger, gas, etc. to assist families and individuals in crisis situations. Mark your donation SOCIAL CONCERNS MINISTRY and place it in the collection basket or drop it at the Parish office.
Gift in Kind Donations:
- Due to limited space availability, we do not keep large items or clothing on site. Please call the SCM office in advance to see if we are currently collecting the items you wish to donate.
If you would like a tax receipt please include your name and address with your donation.

The programs listed below are ongoing and have a variety of needs. All donations can be dropped off at the Parish office or at the Social Concerns office during business hours. Please note the ID code (in CAPS to the right of the program name) on your donation before dropping it off.
Nighttime Cuddle Kits - CUDDLE
We need new or gently used small children's books, small fleece blankets,
and children's fabric (1/2 yard or more) to make drawstring bags
for our Nighttime Cuddle Kits. These will be used to comfort homeless children in area shelters.
COUPONSBring by your current Sunday Coupon inserts for our Troopon program. Drop off in the parish office or the basket on the hospitality table in the church narthex.
Toiletry Items - TOILETRYThese items fill the need for a variety of programs and special projects.

Items for Food Pantries - PANTRY
UNEXPIRED, non-perishable food items for donation to various food pantries.
Gracious Gifts - GGGracious Gifts, the gift shop in the Catholic Charities Mamie George Community Center,
is in need of new or very gently used gift items. Gracious Gifts provides low-cost
gift items for the poor & elderly in the area to purchase gifts for their loved ones.
Suggested donations:- Jewelry (especially trendy items),
- Bath sets (bath & body works type),
- Men’s & women’s wallets, scarves,
- New decorative candles or picture frames,
- Inspirational books, crosses, etc.
