Are you interested in sharing your faith by assisting with the OCIA program?  

We have various needs and welcome your participation.  Below are some ways for you to share your time and talents. Contact program lead Justin Frato if intersted in learning more.
  
OCIA For Children - Catechist

• Teach at regular Sunday moring weekly sessions from 10:15 AM-12:15 PM. 
• Attendance at every session not required
• Most parents attend with their children (mixed group of 2nd-8th grade)
• Need to do online Safe Environment Training through the Archdiocese

OCIA For Children - Catechist Assistant

• Assist Catechist in the room at regular Sunday morning sessions from 10:15-12:15. 
• Attendance at every session not required 
• Most parents attend with their children (mixed group of 2nd-8th grade)
• Need to do online Safe Environment Training through the Archdiocese

• Individual needs to be comfortable teaching a 30 minute lesson based on that Sunday's reading.  
• Up to 13 children (mixed group of 2nd-8th graders) with another adult
• Need to do online Safe Environment Training through the Archdiocese

• Need to fulfill canon law requirements for a Sponsor which are:

1. 16 years old
2. Have received all their sacraments including Confirmation
3. If married, the marriage occurred in a Catholic Church or has been convalidated
4. Living a life in communion with the church

• Share their personal faith journey with the individual   
• Attend most Rites & Retreats - refer to OCIA calendar at left
• Optional attendance at the weekly sessions on Sunday mornings from 10:15-12:15
• Need to do online Safe Environment Training through the Archdiocese
